About the Author:

Philippa Stichbury-Cooper draws on her experience of more than 20 years of teaching and lecturing in primary school classroom Art, Junior Reading and Language. She currently works as an Art Specialist in a primary school.

“Over the Rainbow” and “Over the Moon” are the result of numerous requests from the many participants of her art courses and are the culmination of examples of art units taught to primary school children over a period of years. It is the author’s hope that teachers can take the ideas presented in these books and use, adapt and innovate with them in their own classrooms.

“Bear Basics” is a series of stimulating, imaginative emergent readers with accompanying manual and activity cards that combine the author’s knowledge and expertise in the reading, language and art fields.
